Hola! Me llamo Natalie Gilmore and I’m a sassy latin that grew up in the amazing city of Seattle, WA.  I like dancing in the rain and cuddling in a cozy blanket with a warm cup of joe.  I’ve been drawn to dance since the age of 5.  At first the allure was the pink ruffles and the shiny black tap shoes.  But as I grew up my influences became more and more defined and my love and passion for the art took over.  Just about 6 months after my 19th birthday I made the daring and somewhat scary move to LA.  Over the last 6 years I’ve trained and worked with some of my biggest inspirations including Ivan Koumaev, David Moore, Tessandra Chavez, Marty Kudelka and of course the ever evolving, amazing Matt Cady.  Matt definitely stood out from the moment I met him.  Not only the genuine, organic nature of his choreography but his eccentric and relatable personality.  He has inspired me to be myself and allow my dancing to take it’s own shape, as I truly believe all art forms should.  I am truly blessed to be spending this season of ABDC with the some of the most inspiring, funny and whole hearted humans that I know to date.  I can’t wait to share the love and light that is Fanny Pak not only with America but with ‘el mundo entero’ .
